Red Stamp App Privacy
Red Stamp values your business and is committed to protecting your privacy. We only collect customer information to improve your ordering experience. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties. This policy describes the personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, how we use it and how we protect it.
Types of information we collect
Information such as your name, email address, password, the names and mailing addresses of people you send your cards to, your mailing address, and your credit card numbers you provide when placing an order.
Why do we ask you to create an account
Because we are big believers in privacy, we ask you to create an account so that you and those you designate as postcard recipients are the only people who are able to view your cards. We also think it's important to provide you with a history of postcards you send, so that information needs to get saved, which is why we created a password protected account.
How we use your information
Throughout the ordering process, we collect information to ensure accurate + safe delivery of your postcards. That's it and that's all.
We do not share your information
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties.
Secure credit card information
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) internet encryption technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. That means your data is scrambled in a highly sophisticated method as it travels from your iOS device to the servers.
We use two different methods to best process + secure your payments. When you purchase a premium design, we use Apple's in-app purchasing methods for all payment processing. We do not store any data beyond the transaction receipt returned from Apple to confirm the purchase. You can read more about in-app purchasing here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4009. To best process your postcard by mail payments, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) internet encryption technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. That means your data is scrambled in a highly sophisticated method as it travels from your iOS device to the servers. We store your credit card information securely on your device using Apple's Keychain Security Services. You can find more on Keychain and iOS security here: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/Security/Conceptual/SecureCodingGuide/Articles/SecuritySvcs.html
